Because of my lack of proximity to anywhere in London I will bow out of this survey. Even so, I would love to see The Dons back in business.

I would like to know more of the objectives for this survey before I complete it. Is there financial backing behind the proposal for instance?

I always struggle with these sort of surveys - as there often isnt an answer to select I would choose. However - Im struggling with this question:
2. If they were to relocate further than your maximum distance would you support a new named team born from the old club?
What is meant by the term 'born of the old club'.
If a new track is not near Wimbledon and does not contain any of its previous riders - what would its link be to Wimbledon Speedway??

If by chance a piece of land was made available say 20/30 miles away, I feel many would not agree with the team still being called Wimbledon, so I was just gauging what other peoples thought would be on supporting a complete change of name (say for example Middlesex Saxons), but keeping it under the WSSC banner. I know for a fact that I miss supporting a team, and can't just pick up supporting one of the current clubs, although a new set-up close to home would change that. Nick

As requested the results from our Phoenix survey are as detailed (some surprising results too!):
1. If Wimbledon were to relocate away from Plough Lane, what would the maximum distance be before you feel the 'Wimbledon' name would not be suitable? No more than 5 miles 36.7% No more than 15 miles 30.4% No more than 25 miles 12.7% No more than 35 miles 3.8% Anywhere 16.5%
