Cyril Roger rode for New Cross between 1946 and 1953. He was an England international and world finalist.
The photos show Cyril with an England race jacket and (action) on the right against an Australian rider at the Sydney Sportsground.

Great to see the Cyril Roger photos. Certainly one of the Rangers all-time greats - on a par with Ron Johnson, Jack Milne and Tommy Farndon. Cyril's brothers Bert and Bob were also distinguished New Cross riders in the same post-war period.
