IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
As from this date, London Speedways will be essentially an historical site. The concentration will be on the past, glorious days of the sport in the capital. The same applies to cycle speedway and other speedway discipines that have taken place on speedway tracks in London over the years.
The main difference is that PRESS RELEASES from Rye House and Lakeside Hammers will not be featured. They are now part of the mainstream associate FACEBOOK forum which is also title London Speedways.
Please contnue to forward historical news and photographic items as they have affected London tracks over the years.

Activity is at a standstill but the site stands because of its vast amount of historical information.

The group trundles on but the fire that stimulated it so much in the early days - some years ago - seems to have vanished.

A routine Admin visit to keep the board alive! There is so much historical data placed on here - it would be a shame if, because of what appears to be a lack of interest, it was to be taken down by the Server, And that could happen.

There is much historical data and photos in regard to the old days speedway in London on the site. It would be a pity if it all "became lost"!!! |
