This is the Chiswick Nomads who in their brief two seasons in the sport raced only away matches. Their actual home track was too small and too tight to allow regular racing. Their rider-monager Ted Payne is on the bike. Names of riders would be much appreciated.Attachments:

CHISWICK NOMADS Training track, 160 yards, in Mortlake Road, Chiswick. Opened 1957, closed late 1958. Only wide enough to allow two riders on track. Previously a cycle speedway late 1940s to circa 1954. As a team for away matches, first known as Champions and later Nomads. Competed at Southern Area League tracks. Address: Mortlake Road, Chiswick, London, SW.

A 1958 team group of Chiswick Nomads. I think it is Roy Pickering seated on the bike. Clive Hitch third from left in back row, and Bob Thomas kneeling on the left. And kneeling on the right it looks like Tony Eadon? The team manager is Ted Payne.Attachments:
