The Wolves were Londons entry in the 2nd Division of 1949 and were led by Belle Vue Aces rider Jim Boyd, He was well supported by ex=Norwich rider Wilf Jay but London followers were not satisfied with Second Division fare so the team did not last long,

They finished 6th of the 12 teams in Division Two in 1949, 5th of 15 in 1950, 5th of 16 in 1951, then the team folded prior to the 1952 season getting underway.
(Perhaps they may have carried on if they had been invited into Division One along with the Norwich Stars).
I think there was also a rider named Bruce Gardener, but I do not know if he rode in any League matches for Walthamstow
