Can anyone tell me which leagues were operating around LOndon in the early years. I know of the East London League, the Surrey and South West London, the North West Middlesex and the North London League.
Were there any more?

An interesting topic. I used to follow the New Cross Rangers and a team from Cray in Kent (I think the Cray Tigers?) But I never knew what league either team was in.

Cray Tigers were in the Kent League and were winners in 1950,1951,1952 and 1959. I am not sure if there was a break in operations of the league but a report on the Kent Open Championship in 1959 says that Cray Tigers (also know as St Mary Cray Tigers) had reformed.
I am reasonably sure that New Cross Rangers were in the South East London League. I will post further details when I have them.

Didn't New Cross Rangers race firstly at The Marquis of Granby-New Cross Kinema site, then move to Grove Street in Deptford. And didn't they have a Ron Johnson in their side?
