Do you have any idea about what year(s) the TV series went out?

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaJump to: navigation, search King Cinder was a six part British children's television serial made by the BBC in 1977. It was first shown on Wednesday 2nd November to Wednesday 7th December 1977 on BBC1.
A gritty series, King Cinder by John Foster, pitches two teenagers, played by Peter Duncan (Kerry) a speedway bike rider and Lesley Manville (Nicky) his girlfriend against a criminal gang running an extortion racket run by nasty Todd Edwards (Michael Hawkins) and Hells Angel Daniel Abineri in a South Coast fictional seaside town called Barton. Possibly one of the best final chase scenes on children's British television in the 1970s where Edwards driving a red Austin Maxi chases a running Kerry through a quarry only to see Edwards crash over a cliff.
It was prodcued by Anna Home

As a side issue I was helping the Hackney team in the pits at Belle Vue, at the Zoo, and i was asked if i could take the boots and Leathers down to Rye House on the Sunday, which i did.

I believe this was late 70's The Rye House riders took part in the action. I actually made the body colours for BBC.

The footage is still in the safes at the NBC, I was so near to obtaining all six programmes, but the cost was against me.
