Why not go to the board LONDON SPEEDWAY HISTORY then scroll down to London Team Squads. You'll find all the Wimbledon team riders from 1928 until 2005 listed there. The name does ring some sort of a bell with me but the surname could be spelt as De'Ath maybe? What years does his name appear on the Wimbledon programmes?

Les Dearth rode for Wimbledon in 1929 and possibly also raced in Spain that year, along with Skid Skinner (I think).

This is a quote from the link by Les Gibson aka Les Dearth:
:::This was not the first, nor the last, time that Les cheated death. In the 1930s, Les was a keen and, in his words, "reasonably good" speedway rider, and his home also has a lot of photographs, cups and mementoes relating to this aspect of his life.
He used to ride in front of large crowds, for Wimbledon, under the name Les Dearth, but he sustained a serious back injury and a fractured skull.
"I nearly killed myself," said Les. "I must've been crackers.":::
