What happens in the Champions Final this weekend if the Berwick v Rye House match on Saturday is rained off, then the second leg at Rye House on Sunday is abandoned through rain around heat eight? Will the team leading at that stage get BSPA blessing as the winners or will it be a non-event? As the weather is at the moment, and looking at some long range forecasts, this is all in the realms of possibility.

If this happens, remember it's speedway, my guess is the BSPA will then award the trophy to Plymouth!!!

The weather doesn't look too promising for the Rye House area this afternoon (Saturday October 27 2012). Will the Rye House v Berwick match be hit by the weather? www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2646807

Any views on this comment re the Champions Final (Rye House v Berwick) which appeared on the BSF? :::::::::: #67 Shadders Members 10,721 posts Posted Today, 07:31 PM I take no pride in Rye House winning this trophy. To finish second bottom and walk away with a prize is just plain ridiculous! Let's hope common sense prevails and this worthless fixture filler is consigned to the history books and quickly forgotten.
