This is the last update I have been able to find about Colin Sanders, the former Romford rider, who suffered a track while riding in a practice event in the USA. I have no idea how old this. It appears on the Romford Bombers site. Can anyone update me please.
Former Bombers captain Colin Sanders is back in the UK and undergoing medical treatment in Poole General Hospital after suffering a severe stroke last year whilst riding a speedway bike at the Dade City track in Florida. Colin's sister says, "Unfortunately has has not recovered well from his stroke and is very disabled and unable to speak. He constantly watches DVD s of speedway and remembers his time with Romford." Colin has received numerous messages since being hospitalised and is said to be amazed that so many people still remembered him from his grasstrack, speedway and cycle speedway days.
