SPANISH RIDERS 1931

These four Spanish riders rode at West Ham and Wembley in 1931. No names or results are available at the moment. It's doubtful if they were former bullfighters, as the publicity blurb claims. And I am certain that they also had more than one bike between them.

I believe two of the Spain riders - don't know who - were the brothers Poto Primo and Poto Segundo. Both were still riding in 1948 and 1949 when meetings took place at the Metropolitan Stadium in Madrid - according to Stenner's annual for those years anyway.

At West Ham on September 1 1931, Spanish rider Angel Arche defeated both Arthur Atkinson and Tiger Stevenson in match races. I do not have any results for the other riders or the results at Wembley.
