Joe Highgate was the name used by a 1961 Wimbledon junior for his participation in Holland's 1961 Golden Helmet series. Any ideas who he might be? The only clue I think is that he may have come from north London - hence the use of Highgate as a surname?

Jimbo here. Your message has jogged my memory: I think Joe Highgate was none other than Johnny Leggett. Did you come up with the same name? All the best, Jimbo. > > >

The rider Joe Highgate has been identified as John Leggett who did indeed work for dear old Gus Kuhn at his motorcycle dealership.
