Modified Brin...ry story 1948[/img] The magazine article was sent by Tony Webb, Brisbane, Australia. The article deals fully with the career, up to 1948, of Dicky Geray who was related by marriage to the speedway Brine family. In the article Geary mentions that his father Les Geary rode at Crystal Palace in the early 1930s. Does anyone have more information on Les Geary. I downloaded this page from the oldtimespeedway discussion group. Attachments:

I cannot find any record of a Les Geary riding at Crystal Palace in the 1920s.

Dickyy Geary was a leading rider when Walthamstow entered the sport in 1949. Besides West Ham pre-war, after the war he also rode for Sheffield and Wigan and, possibly, also for Fleetwood. He was also brother-in-law to the speedway Brine family.
