It's 10.30am in London on Easter Monday and I am looking for the torrential rain that has caused the postponement of the Rye House meeting today. We had a slight shower early on but that has all dried away now and at the moment the weather isn't threatening rain. However. I could be optimistic and proved wrong later on. Let's see.

Let's see. Well on the strength of your post I checked the weather forecast for today and I think Rye House are corrcet in their decision. This is what is given for one London Easter Monday forecast: Today A cloudy and windy day with rain, off and on, for much of the day. Some of the rain could be heavy at times, especially towards evening, and the southwesterly wind will reach gale force around exposed southern coasts. Tonight The rain could still be heavy at times during the evening but will clear all parts in the early hours. It will then stay dry with a ground frost forming.
