This is an interesting link. Some well known names mentioned pre-war like Wilf Plant and Arch Windmill. I think other known names from around 1937 were Mick Mitchell and Keith Harvey. It's also interesting to see renowned TT rider from Forest Hill, the great Harold Daniell was also an early 1930s speedway rider at Crayford.

The photo shows early 1930s Crayford speedway rider Harold Daniell in his later career as an international road race and big circuit motorcyle star. Daniell, who was a Norton motor cycle dealer in South London at Forest Hill, near Crystal Palace, won the Isle of Man TT three times.Attachments:
