A Junior League operated at sometime in the late 1940s. The format was four rider teams - the two reserves from the preceding match and two juniors. If memory serves me correctly it was abandoned when West Ham dropped pre-war England test rider Bob Harrison to reserve and he started turning in unbeaten performances for the Hammers. Bob Harrison is seen in the photos during his time at West Ham 1946-49 before he returned to his pre-war club at Belle Vue. Does any member recall the competition?
