FORWARDED MESSAGE sent by Steve Piper Great day at the 70th Rayleigh Speedway Anniversary Exhibition. Even the weather could not dampen the spirit. Rain abated later and the exhibition became busy the sound of former Rocket Terry Stone's Douglas running once the damp had cleared to stop the misfire and popping was great to hear also the JAP. Great to see the Mayor there. Also to meet and chat to Rye House star Karl Fiala. Well done to all who worked so hard on the display a real credit
