I have fell at this one on a number of times on various sites. I have had to put Richard (D) on various occasions if I think of it at the time which is another problem anyhow. With Case & Wise being needed on a number of oldtime sites it will always cause problems. What way do everyone else get round it is something I have often wondered

Have you tried Dickie, not strictly accurate but still identifies the rider fully. Perhaps using a punctuation symbol e.g. 'Dicky' might do the job.
On the original Belle Vue fans forum the name Scunthorpe always appeared as S****horpe. I didn't realise why at first; in fact it was only the asterisks that drew may innocent mind to the naughty word!
I got round the problem by adding an accent over the vowel in the word. You add the accent holding down the Ctrl and Alt keys whilst striking the letter u. Here's the result - ScĂșnthorpe.
Quite useful the Ctrl ant Alt!
