It's a pity this group gets so little use from its members because it offers so much opportunity to bring up topiocs in regard to the old tracks in London. I guess it means the people who attended speedway so many years ago have now probably passed on. remember it was 1992 that London had two tracks then = Wimbledon and Hackney. There was only HACkney after that in 1996, then Wimbledon again between 2002-2005 so not a lot of heritage. I don't regard either Lakeside Hammers (always Arena Essex to me) or Rye House as being London tracks. I don't think there are many people who remember speedway in London nowadays.

Yes it all seems to appear so sadly very quiet. I guess it just shows the general lack of interest by people for speedway in London generally - and from the way the sport seems to be organising nationwide - for speedway as a mainstream sport in the future.
