Friends of Speedway Publicity
The 38th edition of the Voice, produced by Friends of Speedway, a non-profit making organisation whose profits go towards helping sponsor the Under-15's Speedway Championships, is now available. In this latest edition there is news of further prestigious additions to the National Speedway Museum at Paradise Wildlife Park, Broxbourne, in Hertfordshire and of the next California-in-England Re-union. This issue also marks the first decade of our existence and continued pressure on the media for more speedway coverage, whether it be printed or televised.
Plus league table of televised meetings so far this season based on quality of racing, a detailed scrutiny of some of speedway's strange rules and even stranger amendments. Sue Towner showcases a possible new young star for British speedway, and lots of alternative interesting yarns and some controversial opinions and . . . did Roscoe go over the top live on Sky TV? Also the Tom Farndon Commemoration in Coventry and so much more.
In all 24 pages of news and views with colour photographs to give you hours of pleasure which is a pleasant relief to what is on television.
To join Friends of Speedway, and help to support our British youngsters and receive your four quarterly copies of the Voice please send a cheque for £10, made payable to Friends of Speedway, to Stuart Towner at 117 Church Lane, Chessington, Surrey KT9 2DP.
With thanks
